Poteau, Oklahoma — Local residents had an opportunity to learn more about services available throughout Poteau and LeFlore County during a Community Resource Fair held September 3.
Heritage Home Care, in partnership with the Poteau Chamber of Commerce, hosted the free event to bring local agencies, organizations and service providers together in one place. The goal was to make it easier for residents and families to connect with resources that can help meet their needs.

Representatives were available from a variety of organizations and services, including Veterans Affairs, home health agencies, hospice providers, banks, funeral homes and Work Ready programs.
The event also provided information about mental health resources available to residents in Poteau and across LeFlore County.
