Love Fostering Hope (LFH) opened in October 2019 and is located in Shady Point. It was founded by Travis and Marie Clem and Marie serves as the Director of Operations.
LFH is a Christian, Transitional Living program and Addiction Recovery Home for women and their children.
LFH helps those that are alcoholics, addicts and domestic abuse victims. Live-in house managers serve as mentors and provide a good balance between structure and freedom.
We offer support with spiritual growth, recovery structure, relapse prevention, positive parenting, family reunification, GED classes, health and wellness, life skills and accountability while developing a sober and healthy lifestyle.
Numerous other volunteers are utilized for these programs offered for residents.
Participants of Love Fostering Hope live virtually normal lives. We make Love Fostering Hope feel like a home, not an institution.
Love Fostering Hope is so much more than a “house” where women live and stay sober. They are in small groups and Bible study throughout the day. They attend church regularly and Covenant Recovery weekly along with any other court-ordered classes.
Our goal is to prepare our residents to succeed in life by providing a strong foundation in Christ and by helping them find employment and housing after they graduate from the program.
