Barbara was the heart of our family. Together with Kenny, she built a beautiful life grounded in love—loving him deeply and setting a lasting example for their children and grandchildren. She was selfless, always placing the needs of others above her own. With a servant’s heart and a spirit of hospitality, Barbara made every place feel like home. She radiated the fruit of the Spirit— love, joy, kindness, patience, and gentleness. Barbara truly loved Jesus, and it showed in the way she loved others. She reflected His character in both word and action. God gifted Barbara with the quiet ability to bring order from chaos and beauty from the ordinary. Where others saw mess or emptiness, she saw potential. The garden, without her, is just dirt and weeds. The porch, without her care, is flowerless. But in her hands, everything bloomed. She had a way of creating beauty, not for show, but for love. She turned a house into a home, simple ingredients into a meaningful meal, and everyday routines into moments of warmth and comfort. Her touch made things whole. Her presence brought peace. Barbara didn’t just tend to spaces—she nurtured people. She created a life that reflected her deep love for Jesus, and in everything she did, you could see His love through her. There truly are not enough words to fully express how wonderful she was. We find comfort in the blessed assurance that Barbara is now fully healed, made whole in the presence of our Lord —she is truly home.
