Funeral services for Betty Jo Stewart, 83, of Nubbin Ridge, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Cowlington Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.
Betty Jo Stewart was born on February 27, 1938 in Spiro, Oklahoma to Joe Kelly and Eula Leona (Rogers) Bailey and away January 24, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband; Jim Stewart; parents; Joe and Eula Bailey; two sisters, Carolyn Huff and Sue Brailey. Betty worked for the Spiro Nursing Home for over 45 years as a dietitian, she enjoyed gardening, feeding her birds and squirrel, and she loved her children and grandchildren dearly.
Survivors include three sons, Phillip Stewart and wife Mary, Gordon Stewart, and Jimmy Stewart, three grandchildren, Erin Hale, Kyle Stewart, and Kelcie Cummings, eight great grandchildren, Chance Hale, Alexandra Black, Jaison Black, Jr, Bailey Cummings, Finley Cummings, Rock Stewart, Thomas Stewart, Katelyn Stewart, and Ivy Hale.
Viewing will be Wednesday 9am-7pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jaison Black, Jr, Chance Hale, Matthew Hale, Andrew Cummings, Kyle Stewart, and John Autry.
