Lacey Owens, 45, passed away on July 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable meals. Born on January 24, 1981, Lacey lived her life to the absolute fullest. She was a woman who was truly full of life and possessed a rare, fearless spirit—she wasn’t scared of anything. Above all else, Lacey loved her family fiercely. Her greatest joy in recent years was her grandbaby, who she absolutely adored and doted on at every opportunity.

Lacey had a remarkable gift for bringing people together. She was an amazing cook, and her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the rich aromas of her latest meal. Friends and family loved coming over to eat, knowing they would leave both full and happy. When she wasn’t in the kitchen or spending time with her family, Lacey could often be found indulgence in her love for scary movies, always unphased by the thrills. Her brave, joyful, and welcoming nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lacey was preceded in death by her parents Jim Bob and DeAnna (Bess) Bowen.

Lacey is survived by her daughter, Adriona Bowen and spouse, Jacob Summers; her grandson, Rayden Summers; her brothers, Jim Bob Bowen Jr. and wife Amber, Michael Bowen, Christian Husak, Zavion Husak and spouse Gage and Johnathen Husak; her sister, Mary and Trinadad Varela along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

The Celebration of Life Services for Lacey Owens will be held at 1pm – Monday, July 27, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma with Brother Sam Dyer officiating and burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma.
