Funeral services for Betty Mackey, 91 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma with Sister Debbie Wegert officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro. Viewing and Visitation will be Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 9am-7pm with the family greeting friends from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jamie Mackey, Buck Chappell, Brian Jackson, Tyler Hammers, Sean Jackson, and Tommy Beeler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Husdon Hammers and Baker Hammers.
Betty Gene Mackey was born on August 15, 1932 in Washburn, Missouri to Marie (Stephens) Beeler and John Raymond Beeler and passed away on July 28, 2024 in Pocola, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Beeler; husband, Albert Lee Mackey; sons, Monte Ray “Blue” Mackey and Ernest Dean Mackey.
Survivors include her twin sister, Geraldine Brewer of the home; sisters, Imogene Barker, Donna Sue London; son, Ronnie Mackey; grandchildren, Jamie Mackey, Christal Mackey Chappell (Buck), Shayla Jackson (Brian); great grandchildren, Andrea Hammers (Tyler), Ainslee Chappell, Sean Jackson, Alexis Jackson, Everlee Chappell; great great children, Hudson and Baker Hammers, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
