Bob Burl Goin, 88, of Poteau, OK passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in Poteau.
Bob was born March 2, 1931 in Wister, OK to Andrew P. & Donnie (Duncan) Goin.
He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a teacher and worked for Job Corp.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Lovaun Goin; daughter, Tracy Adams; brothers, Joe Paul, Carl & Howard Goin; and sister Evelyn McDonald.
He is survived by his daughter & son in law, Romona & Robert Essman; son, Larry Goin; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters in law, Francis Tanner, Freda & Billy Goins; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 11 am, Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will be at Maxey Cemetery, Wister, OK.
Pallbearers will be Will Hastings, Steve, Bobby & Steven Adams.
