Bobby Charles Whittaker was born on August 15, 1938 in Des Arc, Arkansas and passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the age of 80.
He is survived by his two sons, Bobby Don Whittaker and wife Lisa, Billy Charles Whittaker and Joyce Stilwell, grandchildren, Colton Whittaker and wife Katlin, Tyler Whittaker and wife Bethany, Julie Dukes and husband Richard, great grandchildren, Faith Whittaker, Avery Whittaker, Hunter Robinson, and Christian Dukes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Frances Whittaker, three brothers, and one sister. Bobby loved to sing, hunt, fish, wood working, and taking care of his loved ones.
He owned and operated the Interstate Club and Country Exit Club in Fort Smith where he and his band sang and played.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2nd at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro with Reverend Vernon Stone officiating.
Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
Viewing hours will be 12pm-7pm Friday at the funeral home.
