Bobby Joe Seaborn was born in April of 1940 and born again in February of 1995. His mama Ruby prayed thousands of prayers for her boy to accept Christ as his Savior, and they are rejoicing together in heaven today because he did. Joe was a joyful Christian and he and his wife Verlene were faithful Church members at Olivet Baptist Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma until Joe retired in 2005. After retiring, Joe and Verlene moved home to Wister, where they attended Bethel Baptist Church.

Joe was an electrician by trade and retired from Mac’s Electric Supply in Tulsa after 30 years. He loved woodworking and was exceptional at carpentry, building cabinets and making cedar chests for his friends and family. He was always willing to lend a hand doing electrical work or carpentry to help out anyone in need of his help.

Joe was a faithful and tireless caregiver to his mother and father until they passed away, and to his wife Verlene until she passed away in 2019.

Joe loved to feed the deer in his backyard and in his younger days, loved to fish for Crappie and Catfish. He is survived by his best friend, cousin and fishing buddy Wayne Woodall, and his best and faithful friend and cousin Cynthia Wecker.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother Ruby Woodall Seaborn, and father CC (Kit) Seaborn, sister Sandra Seaborn, spouse Francis White Seaborn, spouse Verlene Robinson Seaborn, daughter-in-law Pam Seaborn, son Randy Seaborn, and brother-in-law Larry Harmon.

Joe is survived by his daughter Tracey Seaborn of Wister, Oklahoma, grandchildren Brittany and Brandon Mathews of Poteau, Oklahoma, Kristen Shuptrine of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Dustin and Samantha Seaborn of Coweta, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his three grandsons, Jaden and Bryson Martin of Coweta, Oklahoma, Huck Mathews of Poteau, Oklahoma, and a whole bunch of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joe loved his Harmon family and thought of his brothers and sisters-in-law as his true siblings, and they loved him the same. He is survived by Louie and Vickie Harmon of Davis, Oklahoma, Carol and Bill Brown of Talihina, Oklahoma, Clinton Harmon of Wister, Oklahoma, Jerry and Joyce Harmon of Wister, Oklahoma, Joy and James Chaplin of Wister, Oklahoma, Lana Mattox of Poteau, Oklahoma, and Kyle Harmon of Summerfield, Oklahoma.

Joe is also survived by Special Friends and Relatives, Jim and Brenda Horne of Fanshawe, Oklahoma, Dennis and Edith Sanders of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Bill Bullard of Fanshawe, Oklahoma, Freida and Don Robertson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Don Plummer of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Celebration of Life services for Joe are still pending at this time and will be announced when all details are finalized.
