Graveside Service for Carolyn Ann Fanning, 73 of Bokoshe, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Old Bokoshe Cemetery Pavilion in Bokoshe, Oklahoma with Brother Joe Perry officiating. Services are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.
She was born on February 20, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Fanny Faye (Tanksley) Carrier and Ikey James Carrier and passed away on March 1, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Wanda McDaniel, her husband Odell Fanning and her second love in life, Robert Danner. Carolyn was a member of New Life Full Gospel Church and B-Inspired Sewing Club. She loved gardening, reading, sewing and spending time with her dogs.
Survivors include her daughters, Marsha Fanning (Laverna Bishop), April Clark (Michael); grandchildren, Madeline Clark, Aaron Clark; sister, Linda Simpson and numerous other relatives and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Michael Clark, Aaron Clark, Dan Mackey, Eddie Cowan, Robbie Cowan, and Carol Abernathy, Sr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harold Statham and Jim Teal.
Viewing will be 9:00am – 7:00pm Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the funeral home with the family greeting friends from 5:00pm – 7:00 pm.
