Wayne Harril Luman of Wister passed away June 17, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 62. He was born in Tulare, California to Harril Luman and Frances Elizabeth (Ford) Newsom. Wayne graduated from Wister High School in 1983. He had a deep love of gardening, landscaping, and arboriculture.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Debbie (Price) Clark; his brother, Jimmy Bardesis; and his brother, Matt Newsom.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Barnes and husband, Brice (Poteau); his sister, Wanda Price and husband, Al Neal (Las Vegas); his brother, Harril Luman Jr and wife, Eva (Richmond, MO); his brother Rodney Bardesis (Tahlequah); and a multitude of other relatives and loved ones.
Per Wayne’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
