Memorial Service for Cathy Ann Smith, 64 of Shady Point, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma with Jim Cook officiating.
Catherine was born on June 28, 1953 in Poteau, Oklahoma and passed away on Saturday, June 10th in Shady Point, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.
Cathy is preceded in death by her mother Burtis Morris of Poteau, beloved son Michael Smith of Shady Point, and brothers Gary Morris of Wister and Howard McGrath of Panama.
Cathy is survived by husband John Smith of the home, son Brad and wife Rachel, and grandchildren Canon and Carson Smith, brother in Law Ronnie Smith and wife Lisa of Wister, nephew Heath Smith wife Jayla and great niece Wren, and brother Harold Sanders, along with special friends Norma, Louise, Pam, Gayle, and Susie, as well as numerous friends and loved ones.
Cathy enjoyed fishing, planting flowers, spending time with her friends, and especially playing with her grandkids. Cathy was kind, loving, nurturing, and a devoted friend to many.
Cremation is under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
