Cathy Diane Fullen, 76, of Poteau, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2026. Cathy was born on June 23, 1949, in Poteau, Oklahoma, to Clyde (Bud) and Rachel (Farmer) Doshier.
Cathy was known for her servant’s heart and her unwavering love for family, friends, and community. She had a special way of showing love through her cooking and baking, always making sure no one left her home hungry. She also had a remarkable green thumb and could seemingly grow anything, even “on a pile of rocks.” Her kindness, loyalty, and dedication were evident throughout every part of her life.
She faithfully worked for 41 years at Community State Bank, where she built lasting friendships and touched the lives of many through her hard work and caring spirit. Cathy was also a devoted member of Calhoun Baptist Church and lived her life grounded in faith and service to others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Rachel Doshier; her husband, Sonnie Fullen; her son, Chad Cooper; her sisters, Phyllis Maxwell and husband Jerry, and Sharon Johnson and husband Thomas.
Cathy is survived by her son, Jeff Cooper and wife Holly; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Pipkins and her 3 children, Skylar Thomas and husband Jake and 2 children, and Kennedi Brimfield and husband Mick; her great-grandchildren, Zaidi and Jaxi May and their father Jeremy May, Kenzer Pipkins and his father Jaycen Pipkins, and Jayla and Lincoln Thomas.
She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Toby Johnson and wife Lori, Sissy Johnson, Kim Staggenborg and husband Tim, along with numerous other relatives, loved ones, and dear friends.
Cathy’s legacy of love, faith, hard work, and selfless devotion to others will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
The Celebration of Life Services for Cathy will be held 11am – Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Calhoun Baptist Church 28876 Lone Prairie Rd, Shady Point, Oklahoma with Pastor Steve Hughes and Pastor Kane Riggs. The Family of Cathy Fullen will greet friends after the conclusion of her Celebration of Life Services at Calhoun Baptist Church.
