Cecil McDonald Griffith, lovingly known as “C-Bo” was born on May 3, 1964 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He passed away peacefully on June 30, 226 in Spiro, Oklahoma, at the age of 62.
Cecil loved the University of Oklahoma Football, passionately. He was a true Sooner fan and loved nothing better than watching the Sooners charge out of the tunnel on game day. He attended the University of Oklahoma for a until he realized that he could make a lot more money working at General Motors and have a lot less homework. He worked at the General Motors plant in Midwest City, Oklahoma until an injury forced him into early retirement.
Cecil was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Green; father, Maudess Thomas; sister, Arneta Briggs; brothers, Zephaniah Griffith, Frank, Dede, and Robert Thomas. He leaves behind a son, Joshua Walker; and grandson, Kole Walker; of Spiro, Oklahoma; daughter, Jaylen Griffith, of Fort Coffee, Oklahoma; sister, Peggie Curry (husband Aaron Curry), of Haslet, Texas; brother, Aaron McKinney, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him greatly.
Anthony Bradley, Charles Chambers, Frankie Chambers, Damon Manion, Cameron Foster, Tony Eubanks, Byron Briggs, and Aaron Curry, will serve as honorary pallbearers.
