Christopher Crouch , 63, of the Conser Community went to his Heavenly Home on July 27, 2025. He was born to Bobby Earl and Shirley Jeanette (Bain) Crouch on June 14, 1962 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a lifelong resident of the Heavener area. Chris graduated from Heavener High School in 1980. Chris in his early years worked for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, but what he loved doing the most was driving a truck, where he was able to see many new places and meet lots of good people. Chris wore many hats throughout his life and was very talented, which was evident in his carpentry work and renovations. Chris married the love of his life, Glenda Gossett on November 7, 1987. They spent free time over their 36 years fishing, hunting, riding horses, camping, hiking, and taking woodland drives. Every year Chris and Glenda would have a new project for the farm. Chris loved all animals and his farm was home to many over the years. Chris loved to cook and Cinnamon Rolls were his specialty, especially when he was on a diet. Chris was very family oriented and loved family get-togethers and playing games. He was a great story teller and he might or might not have embellished them just a little bit.Chris grew up in the Heavener Church of Christ, where later as an adult led songs. He was also a member of the Summerfield Church of Christ and found much joy in fellowshipping with his church family.
