Private family services for Christopher Robert Arter, 45, of Panama, Oklahoma, will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.

 

Christopher was born on August 3, 1979, in Pensacola, Florida, to Olivia Gail (Ray) Arter and James Mitchell Arter. He passed away on July 7, 2025, in Panama, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gail Arter.

 

He is survived by his daughters, Cody Arter and Jennifer McKenzie and wife Carolyn; his sons, Ethan Arter and Gabriel Arter and wife Carolyn; his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Shawn Arter; as well as numerous other relatives and loved ones.
