Coleen Burton of Spiro, Oklahoma was born March 22, 1936 in Williams, Oklahoma to William and Julia (Owings) Lovell and passed away on July 21, 2019 in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 83.
She is survived by four daughters, Flossie Burton Smith, Frances Hart and husband Dusty, Debbie Miller and husband Vonnie, Donna Jackson and husband Chad, 9 grandchildren, Makayla, Shawna, Christa, Denise, Josh, Allie, Jacob, Austin, and Emily, 14 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and one sister, Mosslene Parr.
Preceding her in death are her parents, William and Julia Lovell, her husband; Gene Burton, six brothers; Earl, Merl, Burl, Durl, Dale, Doyle, five sisters; Flossie, Mildred, Patsy, Lillie, and Willie.
Coleen was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Spiro, Oklahoma where she played the guitar and sang. She enjoyed her chickens, working in her garden, and loved her grandchildren dearly.
Funeral services will be held 10am Thursday, July 25, at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Pete Butler officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro.
Pallbearers will be; Chad Jackson, Josh Napier, Jonathan Dennis, Vonnie Miller, Keith Woods, and Alex Flesher.
Viewing will be 9am-7pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
