Daniel Joseph Lowrie, 52, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on May 21, 2026 in Pocola, Oklahoma.
Daniel was born on December 10, 1973 in Santa Rosa, California to Emily (Marage) Lowrie and Dale Dowling Lowrie.
Daniel was a free spirit with a larger-than-life personality who could light up any room he entered. He was bright, loud, and always knew how to make people laugh. Whether he was telling stories, joking with family and friends, or simply spending time with those he loved, Daniel made every moment memorable. His sense of humor and kind heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Above all else, Daniel loved his family. He cherished time spent with his loved ones and was fiercely loyal to the people closest to him. He had a special love for animals and a compassionate nature that led him to help others whenever he could. Daniel never hesitated to lend a hand or offer encouragement to someone in need. His caring spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed.
Daniel enjoyed the simple things in life—good conversations, making people smile, and creating memories with family and friends. He had a way of bringing joy and energy wherever he went, and his presence will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to know him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Lowrie.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Emily Lowrie and Warren Willson; sisters, Sherry Peary and husband Jeff of Pocola, Oklahoma and Terri Lowrie; brother, Harry Lowrie; nieces, Brittany Peary of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Sarah Peary of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Monique Peary of Pocola, Oklahoma, and Heather Peary of Pocola, Oklahoma; nephew, Deavon Peary of Pocola, Oklahoma; great-nephews, Liam Denny and Grayson Peary; and great-niece, Alaina Peary.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
