Danny was born on January 1, 1955, in El Reno, Oklahoma, to Hazel Juanita (Spencer) Hernandez and Daniel Lee Nason, Sr. He married the love of his life, Linda Ann (Jack) Nason, on November 23, 1973, in LeFlore, Oklahoma. Together they shared more than 50 years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, loyalty, and devotion to family.

Danny retired after 35 years of dedicated service with Whirlpool. He had a deep love for old country music and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball, and shooting pool—a favorite pastime he enjoyed so much that he would even play it on his phone and often wouldn’t answer calls while in the middle of a game. One of his greatest joys was growing large gardens, a passion he truly cherished. Above all, Danny treasured time spent with his family and friends. He especially adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and happiness. He also appreciated good food, with seafood and Chinese cuisine among his favorites.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Edward Nason; and his infant sister, Carol Ann.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of over 50 years, Linda Nason, of the home; his daughter, Stephanie Lewis; his son, Daniel Lee Nason III and wife Janna; grandchildren, Greggory Remy and wife Katie, Sebastian Gillenwater, and Issibella Nason; great-grandchildren, Peysleigh Raighn Remy, Paisley Faye Ritchie, and Liam Ritchie; his sister, Patricia Morris and husband Tommy; brothers, Gary Wayne Nason, Dan Preston Nason and wife Melisa, JD Schertler, and Ricky Schertler; and his beloved dog, Zena Ivory Nason. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Nason III, Greggory Remy, Chad Nason, Dan Nason, Randy Hornburger, and Sebastian Gillenwater.
