Funeral services for Darlene Remy, 84 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with Matthew Sebo, Shawn Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home
Darlene was born on January 30, 1940 in Fort Coffee, OK to Bessie (Darneal) Schuster and Eric Schuster and passed away on August 30, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harrison M. Remy, daughter Nanette Remy, son Stanley Remy, and siblings Katherine Gentry, Bobby Joe Schuster, and Larry Schuster. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and a LPN.
Survivors include her son James Patrick Remy and wife Rhonda; Grandchildren Kayla, Nicci, Megan, Stephen, Amanda, Tashoana, Kendall, Kevin, Kyle, Kolten, Cassandra, and Casey; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brothers Leon Schuster and wife Glenda, Billy Schuster and wife Mary; numerous nieces, nephews, others relatives, loved ones, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Hargis, Chris Barnes, Kevin John, Kendall Remy, Sawyer Blue, Shawn Corley Jr., Stephen Remy, and Casey Jones.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
