Funeral Service for David Harold McConnell, 65 of Poteau, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Cameron, Oklahoma with Brother Daylon Duncan, Reverend Tommy Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau, Oklahoma.David was born on January 21, 1957 in Kansas City, Kansas to Modena Flora (Hodge) McConnell and Harold Luther McConnell and passed away on December 21, 2022 in Pocola, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his mother Modena McConnell and a son Jacob McConnell.Survivors include his father Reverend Harold McConnell; a daughter, Misty McConnell; granddaughter, Olivia Dixion, sisters and brother Connie Watling, Bill McConnell, Diania Starnes, and Jamie DeWitt; as well as a host of friends and loved ones.Viewing will be Tuesday at 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cameron, Oklahoma.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for David’s headstone to Jamie DeWitt 334 W.
