Nin was born on January 30, 1955, in Bengal, Oklahoma, to Bernadean (Loomis) McDaniel and Lester McDaniel. She passed away on August 9, 2026, in Wister, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Burrough; her parents, Lester and Bernadean McDaniel; her brothers, Ernie McDaniel, Richard McDaniel, and Mikey McDaniel; and her sisters, Carolyn and Wilma. Nin had a truly selfless heart.
She spent her life taking care of others—family, children, friends, and even strangers. She always put the needs of others before her own and never measured life by material things. For Nin, the greatest reward came from helping someone else and knowing she had made their life a little better. She gave freely, loved deeply, and cared for people without expecting anything in return. That was simply who Nin was. Those who knew and loved her will remember her generous spirit and the way she was always willing to help someone in need. And now, after a lifetime spent caring for others, Nin has hit the streets of gold barefoot!
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Morrison and husband Frank; stepdaughter, Leslie Yochum and husband Dennis; grandchildren, Ashlee Morrow and husband Billy, Kaylee Moore and husband Josh, and Maycee Slone and fiancé Kortney Bohr; great-granddaughter, Miley Morrow; brother, Charlie McDaniel; nephew, Richard McDaniel; niece, Rachel McDaniel; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and loved ones who will dearly miss her.
Pallbearers will be Frank Morrison, Billy Borrow, Dustin Vaughn, Joe Cruse, Wade Dalton, and Dan Cook.
