Irma was born on January 28, 1947, in Tucker, Oklahoma, to Vera (Bailey) Perdue and Willie Blue Perdue. She passed away on March 4, 2025, in Spiro, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William “Butch” Ramsey; her daughter, Dianna Ramsey; her grandson, Ramsey Walters; her son-in-law, Ted Newby; and her sister-in-law, Linda Ivy.
Irma was a woman of many talents and passions. She found joy in gardening, cooking, crafts, and sewing, but she was happiest in the kitchen. As the proud owner of Spiro Donuts, she shared her love of baking with the community. Above all, she cherished her family, especially the time she spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving family, including her daughters, Debra Newby, Donna Ramsey, and Danna Walter and husband Daniel; her sisters, Ellen Craig and Mary Stewart and husband Phillip; her brother, William Ivy; her grandchildren, Tyler Newby, Spencer Walters, Kaylie Cowett and husband Clay, and Brooklyn Seabolt; and her great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Noah, Loretta, and Flora. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Irma’s warmth, love, and kindness will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
