Funeral services for Jaunema G. Sparacio, 88, of Spiro, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma, with Brother Marty Darneal officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home. Viewing and visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the family greeting friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Jaunema was born on August 23, 1936, in Braden, Oklahoma, to Belva (Darneal) Miles and Woodrow Miles. She passed away on February 28, 2025, in Spiro, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, James Towe and Jeffrey Lynn Towe; her grandson, Jeffrey Towe, Jr.; her sister, Pat Ainsworth; and her brother, Claud Miles.
A proud member of the Choctaw Nation, Jaunema was the great-granddaughter of James Darneal, the Light Horseman. She was the last surviving charter member of Lakeview Baptist Church, which she and her family helped build. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and playing BINGO, but her greatest passion was spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise Reed and husband Robert; her son, Tommy Sparacio; her grandchildren, Jay Robinson and wife Crystal, Dylan Robinson, Brandon Robinson and wife Emily, Nicole Hubbard, Aaron Sparacio, and Ty Sparacio; and her great-grandchildren, Kenzleigh, Oakleigh, Whitleigh, Hayden, Wesley, and Ruby Robinson, Toby Towe; beloved cousin Ronnie Parent. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Pallbearers will be Jay Robinson, Dylan Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Robert Reed, Robert Robinson, and Bobby Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Chaney and Luke Franklin.
