Funeral Service for Jennifer Lynn Maddox, 58 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at First Assembly of God in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Robert Hill and Reverend Scott Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
She was born on February 12, 1965 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Janice (Gill) Jacobs and Larry Jacobs and passed away on August 5, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Jacobs; mother Janice Monks; step father, Alfred A. Monks; brother Ronnie Monks of Alma, AR, and many other cherished loved ones. She attended various churches, but was primarily a part of Spiro First Assembly of God in Spiro, Oklahoma. She was a special education teacher, home health worker, and had various other occupations over her life. She was passionate about helping those around her, taking care of the animals in her life, and taking care of her family. She was beloved by so many and will be missed more than words
can express.
Survivors include her son, Matthew Johnson of Spiro; brother, Jeff Jacobs of Spiro; sister, Debbie Janway of Heavener; brother, Al Monks; numerous other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Matt Johnson, Jeff Jacobs, Scott Harrison, Jeremy Harrison, Chad Inman, and Matthew Cogburn. Honorary Pallbearer will be Kenneth Johnson.
Viewing will be 9am-7pm Tuesday with the family visiting with friends 5pm-7pm at the funeral home.
