“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” – Matthew 25:23
With grateful hearts and unwavering faith, we celebrate the life and going home of Jimmy Alford Lee, Sr., a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and steadfast man of God. On the morning of February 21, 2025, the Lord called him home to eternal rest. Though our hearts grieve his absence, we find comfort in knowing that he now walks in glory, embraced by the love of our Savior.

Born on May 4, 1941, in Braden, Oklahoma, to Robert and Analo (Phillips) Lee, Jimmy was the third of eight children. From a young age, he learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and faith—principles that guided him throughout his life.

Jimmy was a man of wisdom, integrity, and kindness. He lived his life with purpose, always encouraging those around him to work hard and strive for their best. He was a disciple of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ until his health began to fail.  He dedicated 35 years of service to Hill Company in Fort Smith, Arkansas, until its closure in 1996. His strong work ethic led him to further employment at Cintas and Atwoods, where he worked tirelessly until his retirement in 2017. As a skilled sewing machine mechanic, he took great pride in his craft and was always willing to lend a helping hand.Beyond his work, Jimmy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time with family, riding motorcycles, and caring for his horses. He was a man who truly embraced life and found beauty in every moment. His love for his family was evident in all he did—his guidance, his sacrifices, and his unwavering support.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Analo Lee; his sisters, Dorothy Phillips and Joyce Alphonso; his brothers, Bobby Lee, Thomas Lee, and Elder Mitchell Lee.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife of 63 years, Mable Lee; his beloved children, Jimmy A. Lee, Jr. (Spiro, Oklahoma), Jacqueline Griffin (Fort Smith, Arkansas),  Michael Lee (Fort Smith, Arkansas), and Alexandria Lee; his adored seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his sisters, Katherine Massey (Epluribus) and Mender Lee, both of Spiro, Oklahoma; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Victory Worship Center in Spiro, Oklahoma.
