John was born on April 24, 1938, in Newton, New Jersey, to Christine (Smith) Zeller and Ernest Zeller. He lived a full and creative life, known for his kindness, craftsmanship, and sense of humor. John enjoyed woodworking and was especially fond of making wooden lawn decorations. He spent many happy hours playing card games, working on breakfast solitaire, and baking cupcakes for local businesses. He also found joy in creating props for his church’s Bible school and cherished his role as a devoted “cat dad” to his beloved cats.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Christine Zeller; his daughter, Tammy; three brothers; and two sisters.
John is survived by his children, John and wife Cheri, Linda and husband Jack, EZ, and Irene and husband Darrell; his grandchildren, Chris Zeller, whom he raised, and Cynthia Massey and husband Jared; eight more grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren, as well as two brothers and four sisters.
John will be remembered for his creativity, generosity, and the love he shared with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
