John Loren Welch, 81, of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Poteau.
John was born November 29, 1937 in Poteau. He was a Poteau Pirate and OU Sooner Fan.
He loved to hunt & fish. He loved his four grandsons more than anything.
John was a Free Will Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie & Jim Welch; brother, James & sister, Carolyn Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Welch of the home; children, Cynthia Jo & husband Brian Larkin of Bokoshe, OK, John Richard & wife Tammy Welch of Hodgen, Tonia & husband Scott Phillips of Poteau; grandsons, Justus Welch, Jonathan House, Tyler Welch & Gene Welch.
There will be no viewing and the service will be a private family one.
