Joyce Lavonne (Wise) Addison of Norman, Oklahoma (formerly of Heavener, Oklahoma) was born October 4, 1930 in Howe, Oklahoma to Floyd and Pink (Christopher) Wise and passed away December 2, 2018 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 88.
She is survived by:
Two sons:
Michael Addison and wife Donna of Norman, Oklahoma
Rodney Addison and wife Jan of Skiatook, Oklahoma
One sister:
Sharon Hornbuckle of Marlow, Oklahoma
One brother:
Floyd “Butch” Wise and wife Nancy of El Reno, Oklahoma
Six grandchildren
Ten great-grandchildren
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Harold Addison; and one grandson, Zackary Addison. In their early years, Bill and Joyce owned several businesses in Heavener. Joyce was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Monroe Cemetery with Brother John Glinski officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be from Noon until 6:00 p.m., Friday and 8:30 a.m. until Noon, Saturday at the funeral home.
