Joyce Minks, 79, of Pocola, OK passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Pocola. Joyce was born September 21, 1941 in Pocola to Marvin & Jennie (Maple) Tankersley. She was a teacher. Joyce was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Bobbi Rodgers; brothers, Owren, Wayne, Alfred, Bud, Marvin Jr., Roy and Ray Tankersley; sister, Jerry Faye Ward.
Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Eaton & Melissa Bennett; sons, David Rodgers & Steven Minks; grandchildren, Brandi Dodson, Mariam Bradley, Asim Qamoum, Nadia Whalen, Summer, Omar Qamoum, Sejah Cervantes, Samantha Eaton, James Eaton IV, Sara Rae Eaton, Savanna Minks and Seth Minks; brother Paul Minor Tankersley; 14 great grandchildren; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the DAV or Vineyard Community Church food pantry in Ft. Smith, AR.
