Funeral Service for Judy Ann Lee, 80 of Wister, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 am on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Judy was born on July 31, 1943 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Myrtle (Wilson) Angel and John Angel and passed away on June 24, 2024 in Pocola, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Howard Lee; and son, Terry Lee. Judy was a beloved homemaker and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She devoted much of her life to nurturing and educating young minds. She always had a little kid Sunday school class, her commitment to youth extended beyond the church as she served as a girls scout leader for her girls and granddaughters. A faithful Christian, Judy was a cherished member of the Cowboy Church. In her leisure time, Judy enjoyed watching old movies and the classic TV show “Gunsmoke.” She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Survivors include her sons, Tony Lee of Poteau, Oklahoma and Tim Lee of Poteau, Oklahoma; daughters, Tracy Berry and husband Joe of Wister, Oklahoma and Teresa Lee of Wister, Oklahoma; 10 grand children; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Angel and wife Penny of Poteau, Oklahoma; sister, Mary Jon Machart and husband Frank of Paris, Texas; numerous other relatives, and loved ones.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
