Funeral Service for Mark Wayne Hassell, 65 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend John Holderfield officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be David Hassell, Reverend John Holderfield, Joe Dotson, Chris Dotson, Larry Hilbern, and Michael Diamond. Honorary pallbearers will be Dawson Hassell and Brennan Hassell.
He was born on December 2, 1958 in Livonia, Michigan to Mary Sue (Nance) Hassell and Wayne Perrin Hassell and passed away on July 28, 2024 in Spiro, Oklahoma. He was married to Brenda Ann (Hilbern) Hassell on July 7, 1978 in Spiro, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Candice Hassell. Mark Wayne enjoyed fishing, golfing, and riding his motorcycle. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and he loved them dearly.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hassell; son, David Hassell and wife Ashlei; grandchildren, Dawson Hassell, Brennan Hassell; and one sister, Linda Remer, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, beloved family and friends.
