Martha Sue Black of Spiro, Oklahoma was born March 18, 1940 to Millard and Ethel (Lewis) Perdue in Tucker, Oklahoma and passed away on November 22, 2018 in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 78.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Alton “Pod” Black, one daughter, Gayle Ann Black, three sons, Dan Russell and wife Jessie, Darrell Russell and wife Karen, Chris Russell and wife Pam, 8 grandchildren, Glen Russell and wife Steffine, Logan Russell and wife Taylor, Amy Allen and husband Troy, Jamy Potter and husband Skip, Amber Scott and husband Derrick, Amanda Magruder and husband Matt, Greg Cox and wife Erica, and Jennifer Hopping and husband Jim. 11 great grandchildren, Megan Powell, Chris Powell, Alex Allen, Connor Scott, Gavin Potter, Cain Scott, Brent Potter, Brayden Barton, Lucas Magruder, Cody Hopping, Makyle Hopping, and Sophie. Also survived are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Ethel Perdue, her daughter, Debbie Russell, her son, David Russell, two sisters, Malissa and Naomi Perdue, and four brothers, Ralph, William, Arnold and Clarence Perdue.
Funeral services will be 10am Tuesday, November 27th at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma.
Burial will in the New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Viewing hours will be 9am-7pm Monday.
