Mary Elizabeth Heflin, 80, passed away on May 6, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mary was born on December 1, 1944, in Valliant, Oklahoma to parents Claude and Forrest (Peden) Hall. Mary loved to spend time creating oil paintings and loved even more to be able to bless people close to her with one of them. She also loved flowers and spent a lot of time in the garden. Mary loved to go to town to shop, always trying to find a bargain.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bill Hall.

Mary is survived by her husband Carl of the home, her son Gary Heflin and wife Rhonda of Tuckerman, Arkansas, her daughter Brenda Pavatt and husband Clint of Grove, Oklahoma, her 3 grandchildren Paige, Hayes, and Kelly Z, her 4 grandchildren, and her sister Claudia Keeler and husband Mervin of Oregon, along with many other loved ones and friends.

The Celebration of Life Services for Mary will be held 2pm – Monday, May 12, 2025, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma with Pastor Gene Heflin officiating. The Family of Mary Heflin will greet friends at 1pm – Monday, May 12th before the service.
