It is with heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Milton Miller, 84, of Bokoshe, Oklahoma. Milton entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 17, 2025, at First Assembly of God Church in Bokoshe, Oklahoma, officiated by Reverend Doyle Martin and Reverend Lynn Bullard. Burial will follow at Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe, Oklahoma, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.

Viewing and visitation will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with the family receiving friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Milton was born on August 3, 1940, in Empire, Alabama, to Evelyn Estel (Alford) and Ulmer Evan Miller. He married the love of his life, Ann (Brown) Miller, on November 23, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their love story spanned over six decades, filled with cherished memories and an unbreakable bond.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Donald Miller and Ronald Miller; four sisters, Patricia, Barbara, Ernestine, Linda; and four brothers, Eugene, James, Larry and Hershel.

Milton leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold his memory in their hearts, including his devoted wife, Ann Miller; daughters, Susan Campbell and husband James, Teresa Conway and husband Gerald; daughter-in-law, Tracey Miller; grandchildren, Jeffery, Hollie, Nathan, Kat, Sarah, David, Matt, Kelsee, Montana, Dallas, Dakota, Scott, Christie, Haylee, Jeremy, Lacy, Stephen, Cash, Layni, Caden, Ella, Calee, and David; and great-grandchildren, Donavin, Mason, Nevaeh, Heidi, Gracelyn, Chesnie, Cashton, Cedar, Creeklyn, Haydn, Vivian, Cannon, Nathan, Everlee, Axel, Asher, Drake, Sparrow, Mia, Skylar, and Monroe. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

Milton was a pillar of his community, dedicating his time and talents to making Bokoshe a better place. He was a faithful member of the Bokoshe First Assembly of God Church and served on the Bokoshe School Board, where he helped shape the education of countless children. He was also a member of the Bokoshe Lions Club and respectfully served as Chaplain of the American Legion in Bokoshe.

Milton Miller proudly served as a Military Police Officer for the U.S. Army.  He was known for his sharp wit and passion for trading, Milton built a reputation as a skilled horse and dog trader. He loved coon hunting and cherished the many rides and trips he took with his family. But above all, his greatest pride and joy was his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he adored beyond measure.

Milton’s legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched, and his memory will be cherished forever.

Pallbearers will be his beloved grandchildren, and honorary pallbearers will be his cherished great-grandchildren and loving friends.

Though he has departed this world, Milton’s love, laughter, and wisdom will continue to guide and inspire us all. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
