Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the family greeting friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Patricia Ann Smith was born February 13, 1943, in Clarksville, Arkansas, to Tom and Mae (Masterson) Nowotny. She passed away on May 31, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the age of 83.
Pat was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Pocola. She enjoyed playing games, traveling on vacations, and spending time with those she loved most. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she cherished every opportunity to be together with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Smith, who passed away on January 23, 2011; her parents, Tom and Mae Nowotny; her sons, Randy Smith and Timothy Smith; her great-grandson, Jace Goff; her brothers, Jay Nowotny, Bill Nowotny, and Tommy Ed Nowotny; and her sisters, Mary Williams, Bobbie McLean, Tommie Mae Nowotny, Myrtle Armstrong, and Betty Hays.
Pat is survived by her son, Ronnie Smith, Sr.; her grandchildren, Rodney Smith, and Tanya Cooper, Ronnie Smith, Jr. and wife Kaitlin; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Pat will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the many cherished memories she created with those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
