A proud graduate of Pocola High School, Trish was an exceptional athlete, known for her talent in basketball and fast-pitch softball. She was a key player on the Pocola High School softball team that won a state title. Her love for sports stayed with her throughout her life, as she rarely missed an opportunity to support her local teams, from church league softball to Pocola basketball and baseball games.
In addition to her passion for sports, Trish enjoyed reading, cooking, and most importantly, spending time with her family. She cherished every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a constant presence at their activities, always cheering them on and offering unconditional love and support.
Trish is survived by her daughter, Kristie West and husband Jeff; son, Bryan Howard and wife Carla; grandchildren, Cole Howard and wife Samone, Tyler Howard and wife Tasha, Chase West and wife Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Maddox, and Hudson Howard, Aziyah Logan, and Paisley West; her sister, Sharon Surratt and husband J.R.; brothers, Gary Howard and wife Susan, and Danny Howard and wife Robin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Victory Worship Center in Spiro, Oklahoma. Reverend Jimmy Waldrop and Reverend Bryan Fouts will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola, Oklahoma, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with family greeting friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Cole Howard, Tyler Howard, Chase West, Aiden Howard, Maddox Howard, Trevor Howard, and Hudson Howard. Honorary Pallbearers include Gary Howard, Danny Howard, Matt Howard, Andy Pipkins, Leah Short, and Wesley Riggs.
