Visitation for Paul (Butch) Boyd, 77 of Panama, Oklahoma will be at 5-8pm on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma. Service under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Paul was born on March 31, 1945 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Faye (Boyd) Worley and Bethel Bates and passed away on October 4, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, Oscar and Winnie Boyd; paternal grandparents, John and Ella Bates. Paul enjoyed fishing, eating, watching westerns, and football. Spending time with his grandchildren, and watching them play sports. He was a member at First Assembly of Panama. He was always helping others in need, he loved his animals.
Survivors include: wife, Marslene Shelton; daughters, Rhonda Jones, Rebecka (Roger) Gardenhire,Tessila Cagle, Deshana Ludlow; sisters, Rachel Taapken (Bates), Estella Tayrien (Bates); brother, Bethel (Buzzy) Bates; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
