Funeral Service for Phyllis Breashears, 86 of Poteau, Oklahoma will be at 10am on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma with Phil McGehee, Stephen Billy officiating. Burial will follow at Vaughn Cemetery in Gilmore, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Phyllis was born on June 20, 1936 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Evelyn (Landrum) and James Woodson McMillin and passed away on October 8, 2022 in Pocola, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, Eddie Hearl “Red” Breashears II; daughter, Vickie Diane Darnell; son, Eddie Hearl Breashears III; great granddaughter, Kristen Lovell, great grandson, Kaden James Breashears.
Survivors include: son, Wayne Breashears and wife Mary Jo; daughter-in-law, JoAnn Breashears; son-in-law, Chris Darnell; sister, Louis Brown; 5 granddaughters, Brandie Lovell and husband Chris, Christie Gream and husband Kenny, Misty Miller and husband Nathan, Paula McCullough and husband Casey, Taylor Jo Breashears Hasley and husband Joshua; 4 grandsons, Thomas Moon and wife Angel, Kendall Breashears and wife Tiffany, Clayton Morgan and wife Tracy, Danny Wayne Breashears and wife Sara; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and loved ones.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8pm.
