Sandra Yvonne Davis was born on January 5, 1951 in Roland, Oklahoma to Bessie (Barnes) Tabor and Owen Tabor and passed away on July 26, 2026 in Owasso, Oklahoma.
Sandy was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother, and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Her family was the center of her life, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved.
Affectionately known as “Silly Sandy,” she had a joyful spirit and loved making others laugh. Her playful personality brought happiness wherever she went, especially to her grandchildren, who lovingly said, “Grandma, you so silly.”
Sandy was a tennis champion and an enthusiastic sports fan. She loved cheering for the Braves and was an avid supporter of the Oklahoma Sooners. Whether she was watching a game, sharing a laugh, or spending time with her family, Sandy brought warmth, energy, and love to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Owen Tabor; husband Larry Davis; daughter Amber Renee; sisters, Betty Myers, Cletus Crawley, Connie Keener, and Judy McCollough; and her brothers, Teddy Tabor and Owen D. Tabor.
Sandy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Christy Davis of Owasso, Oklahoma; her grandson, Ethan Davis; her granddaughter, Adelyn Davis; sisters, Brenda Vincent of Roland, Oklahoma, and Cherry Holden of Booneville, Arkansas;  and countless beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other extended family members.
Sandy will be remembered for her deep faith, her devotion to her family, her love of laughter, and the joy she brought into the lives of everyone who knew her. Her loving heart and wonderfully silly spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Funeral Service for Sandra Yvonne Davis, 75, of Owasso, Oklahoma, will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Gospel Tabernacle in Poteau, Oklahoma, with Carl Daniels and Andy O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
