Randy Wayne Bryant, 65, of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Bokoshe, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma, with Reverend Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bokoshe Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
Randy was born on December 8, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Oteka (Nixon) Bryant and RD Bryant. On January 1, 1989, he married the love of his life, Terry Lynn (Restine) Bryant, in Bokoshe, Oklahoma. A man of deep faith, Randy always gave thanks to God, and his family takes comfort in knowing he was welcomed into heaven with open arms.
He was a hardworking man, holding jobs in oil rigs, coal mines, factories, and farming for the Gamble family. Randy had an incredible talent for fixing just about anything. His generosity and willingness to lend a hand were cherished by many, including his mother-in-law, who often said he was the best—so much so that Terry joked she may have loved him even more than she did!
A true sports fanatic, Randy especially loved football and was a devoted Oklahoma Sooners fan. When OU played, he proudly displayed their flags. He also had a passion for gardening, blessed with a green thumb that allowed him and Terry to grow and can an abundance of food together.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Terry Restine Bryant; son, Rodney Bryant; grandsons, Christopher Bryant and Dalton Bryant; great granddaughter, Emma Nicole Bryant; sisters, Connie Powell and Sandy Oliver; his cherished Chihuahua, Lilly Mae, who never left his side; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews.
Randy’s kindness, hard work, and unwavering faith left a lasting impact on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
