Funeral Service for Ruth Lorene Ross, 78 of Howe, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Faith Community Church of the Nazarene in Poteau, Oklahoma with Reverend Michael Davidson,officiating. Burial will follow at Howe Cemetery in Howe, Oklahoma under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau, Oklahoma.
She was born on January 18, 1945 in Lamb, Arkansas to Sarah Adeline (Evans) King and Morris Freeman Nash and passed away on January 18, 2023 in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Ross, sister, Judy Davis and brothers Charles Nash and Harvey Waddles.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Dall and husband Lee, sons, Stan Horton and wife Nina, John Horton and wife Amanda, Chase Davis, sisters, Peggy Hill, Louise Mattox and Mary Evers, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of other friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Horton, Mason Fox, Colton Davis, Brendon Marsh, Eric Pilcher, Jacob Huffman.
Viewing will be Sunday 1:00pm – 7:00pm at the funeral home.
