Sandra Ovetta Bailey was born on August 26, 1942 in Caraway, Arkansas to Wilma Opal (Killough) Gather and Terril Eugene Gather and passed away on July 21, 2021 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 78 . Saundra was preceded in death by her parents, an infant child, 3 brothers, George Gather, Jimmy Joe Gather and Robert Gather. She loved her church and her family.
Sandra was survived by her husband, James Bailey, Sr.; daughters, Teresa Delynn Graves, Dorothy Ann Rankin; son, Jim Edward Bailey, Jr.; sister, Vanda Johnston; Brother, Kenneth Earl Gather, numerous grandchildren, one great granddaughter, numerous other relatives and friends.
A Private Service will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.
