Memorial service for Shelly Marie Cory, 61 of Pocola, Oklahoma will be 2:00pm, Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma. Cremation services are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jason Pinkston, Tristan Rhodes, Tucker Rhodes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andy Cory, Doug Cory, Gordon Norris, Robert Norris, David Norris, and Jimmy Pinkston. There will be no viewing or visitation.
Shelly was born on February 2, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa to Jo an Frances (Magness)Wheeler and Ralph John Cory, Jr. and passed away on November 26, 2024 in Pocola, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jo an Wheeler and her father and step mother, Ralph and Fran Cory. Shelly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, antique shopping, yard selling, and traveling to Iowa to spend time with her family. She had a special love for her dogs, they were her babies.
Shelly’s survivors include her daughter, Sheena Holscher and wife Sam; sons, James Pinkston and wife Sheri, and Jacob Pinkston; grandchildren, Trinity Rhodes, Jason Pinkston, Tristan Rhodes, Tucker Rhodes, Sierra Pinkston; sisters, Sheryl Leydens and husband Rick, Susan Pinkston and husband Joe, Cindy Walker and husband Ernie; brothers, Ralph Cory and wife Joanne, Gordon Norris, Andrew Cory and wife Lori, Robert Norris and wife Lisa, David Norris; numerous other relatives and loved ones.
