Graveside services for Shirley Holter, 78 of Bokoshe, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Nubbin Ridge Cemetery in Bokoshe, Oklahoma with Brother Vernon Stone officiating. Viewing will be 5-8 pm Wednesday at Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma.Shirley Ann Holter was born on April 5, 1945 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma to Betty Jean (McCollum) and John Francis Didway and passed away on December 25, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Holter; son, Kenneth Summers Sr.; sisters, Norma Shores and Sue Bryant; and brother, Don Didway.Shirley is survived by her son, Mike Summers and wife Carla of Bokoshe, Oklahoma; daughters, Dana Summers of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, and Misty Burnett and husband Wayne of Bokoshe, Oklahoma; sister, Marilyn Ashley and husband Winfred; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and “lots and lots of friends”.Pallbearers will be John Boy Horn, Bubba Summers, Wayne Burnett, John Ashley, John Didway, Steve Didway, Winfred Ashley, Toby Teach, and Kenneth Sears.
