Sylvia Hale, of Spiro, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 88. She was born June 6, 1930 in Williams, Oklahoma to James Edmond and Ruth Ellen (Laughlin) Brown.

 

She is survived by; special companion, Joe Tedder of the home, sister, Bonnie Mullins of Booneville, Arkansas, daughter, Sandra Goff and husband Larry of Moore, Oklahoma son, Marty Hale of Panama, Oklahoma, five grandsons, Jerry Goff and wife Lori of Denver, Colorado, Harlan Hale and wife Mindy of Panama, Oklahoma, Darin Hale and wife Pegg of Panama, Oklahoma, Devin Hale and wife Tina of Panama, Oklahoma, Dustin Hale of Panama, Oklahoma, two granddaughters; Jeana Davis and husband Jason of Moore, Oklahoma, Heather Loyd and husband Kyle of Pocola, Oklahoma, nine great-granddaughters, 6 great- grandson, several nieces, nephews, other loved ones and friends.

 

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; James and Ruth Brown, siblings; Dez Brown, Dym Falkner, James Brown, Ellis Brown, Lorece Brown, Marie Hensley, Sibeal McDuffy, Connie Brown, and one son, Monte (Bud) Hale.

 

She was a retired home health provider and former member of the American Legion. Sylvia lived life to the fullest and enjoyed singing and playing music with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

 

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with burial at Fairview Cemetery in Panama, Oklahoma.
