Thad Kyle Martin, 73, of Wister, OK passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. Thad was born June 20, 1948 in Wister, OK to Jesse Fred & Emma (Baldwin) Martin. He was a heavy equipment operator. Thad was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Sooner, Poose & Duck Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; children, Bret Martin, Ronnie & Trish Martin, Tod & Janice Martin, Christopher Lee, and Kimberly Thornburg; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Martin, Retta & Tommy Baker, Pat Anderson; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Wister School Cafetorium with Sam Walden officiating. Burial will follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK. Pallbearers will be Rocky Crane, Donnie Martin, Ronnie Martin, Tod Martin, Chris Lee, Shain Turnipseed. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Walden, Steve Walden, Ron Clement and Jordan Lee.
The family will be at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
