Funeral Service for Vanessa Jo Clayton, 24 of Spiro, Oklahoma, will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Mallory Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Dennis Ruff officiating. Burial will follow at Spiro City Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home
She was born on June 27, 1998 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Mary Jo (McGrath) Ray Anno and Rodney Ray Clayton and passed away on January 30, 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her grandpa Daniel Clayton, great grandfathers John Dugan and Haskell Clayton, great grandmothers, Anella Wright-Clayton, Emil Dugan.
Survivors include a daughter, Mayah Rose Scott, mother and stepfather, Mary Jo Anno and James, father, Rodney Clayton, brothers, Wesley Ray and Keenan Klubben, sisters Brandi Clayton and Latia Hernandez, grandmothers, Mary Morgan and Kay Clayton, and Nana and Papa Duke and a host of other friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Ray, Caleb Myers, Keenan Klubben, Kalen Scott, Ryan Guinn and Vante.
The family will greet friends Wednesday 5pm-7pm at the funeral home.
