Funeral Service for Wayne T. Crutchfield will be at 2pm on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Vernon Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma
Wayne T. Crutchfield was born on November 14, 1936 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma to Edward and Velma (Pulliam) Crutchfield and passed away on February 20, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He married the love of his life, Glenda (Allen) on February 17, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Wayne, W.T., Dub, or whatever you may have called him had many nicknames. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mud bogging, pulling pranks, and family time. He worked for McKissick Products in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 41 years and retired as plant supervisor. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the Choctaw Nation, a Choctaw Veteran, and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Edward and Velma Crutchfield; two sisters, Lavada Parker and Wanda Riley; two brothers, O’Neal Crutchfield and J.E. Crutchfield.
Survivors include his wife Glenda (Allen) Crutchfield; two children, Dennis Crutchfield and wife Leslie and Tonda Holmes and husband Gary; four grandchildren, Billy Holmes and wife Stephanie, Tara Crutchfield and Conner, Becky Bryan and husband Kyle, and Kyle Crutchfield; five great grandchildren, Mia Holmes, Rylee Holmes, Landon Bryan, Macy Bryan, and Patrick McGuinness; four sisters, Shelba McConnell, Barbara Fowler, Beverly Carey, and Karla(Sha) Dill; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives, loved ones, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Crutchfield, Steve Whiteley, Kyle Crutchfield, Kyle Bryan, Billy Holmes, and Wayne Warren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Brooks, Bluejay Henderson, Jerry Don Allen, Gary Holmes, and Sonny Fox.
Viewing will be 9-7pm Thursday with family visiting with friends from 5-7pm.
