
Wilma was a devoted Christian and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a lifelong member of Solid Rock Church and was an active participant in the Panama Senior Citizens. Wilma was also a dedicated Avon Representative for 30 years, achieving Presidents Club status, and loved the relationships she built over the years. She was an avid shopper who always enjoyed a good sale and found joy in giving to others, sharing her love and generosity with everyone around her.
Wilma’s family was everything to her, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her commitment to her faith, and her love for family.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Weaver and husband Chris; sons, Johnny Martin, Jr. and wife Sylvia, and Jerry Martin; grandchildren, Johnny Martin III, Aaron Martin, Scott Martin, Darren Martin, Ryan Weaver, and Mindy Howk; great-grandchildren, Cordell Martin, Cameron Martin, Addysan Martin, Ryett Martin, Treysn Howk, Maisly Howk, Tavery Howk, Taft Howk, Moyer Howk, Jeppa Howk, Tahnee Howk, and Roy Howk; and numerous extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Randall Foster, Sean Wright, Jeff Wright, Mike Martin, Bryan Martin, and Joe Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Imhauser, Glendall Black, Don Black, and Lenial Black.
A funeral service for Wilma Mae Martin will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma, with Steve Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Panama, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
Viewing and visitation will be Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
